The MSS Minute

A wonderful addition to the culture of Manitoulin Secondary School, the MSS Minute school newspaper is a project that gives students the opportunity to become engaged, involved and socially aware, regarding issues facing our school, community, and the world. Even though we are a small school, we strive to give students experience in teamwork, journalism, marketing, and in building business relationships with members of the community in regards to sponsorships, advertising, etc. Members of the newspaper team and freelance writers submit their articles or contributions to the paper monthly, and copies of each issue are sold to students at Manitoulin Secondary, and subscriptions are bought by community members, school staff, and sponsors of the paper.
