In-School Health Services

The Sudbury and District Health Unit provides a health clinic for students to address lifestyle concerns. As well, Noojmowin Teg provides a nurse  (Monday to Friday)  to serve students wishing information/counseling about: health issues such as smoking, nutrition, substance use, healthy relationships, birth control, STI’s, and mental health. A doctor is available once a month for students needing further medical advice. Appointments are made through the Nurse.

Please note that additional health services are available through various community organizations and contact numbers can be shared by a nurse,  guidance or the school social worker.
